Melvin Estues Smith

Melvin Smith, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2019, in Fort Worth.

 Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at White’s Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown.

 Interment: 1 p.m. Thursday in Boonsville Cemetery, FM 920 at CR 3743 in Boonsville. 

Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at White’s Funeral Home, Springtown.

 Melvin was born December 10, 1939 at Oakhill Ranch in Boyd, son of Posie and Ila Smith. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many, and will be missed. 

Melvin was preceded in death by Posie Smith, Sr., Ila Smith, Margaret Smith, Corey Crowell, Posie Smith, Jr. and Joyce Stockton. 

Survivors: Brother, Jerry Smith of Paradise; daughter, Kay Crowell and husband, Kelley, of Poolville; son, Casey Smith and wife, Lisa, of Poolville; grandkids, Amy and Justin Schneider, Deana and Chris Tondre, Kallie and Rob Spitzenberger, and Kambree Smith; great-grandkids, Victoria, Riley, Ryan, Reagan, Raylea, Cooper, and Ryker; and many extended family members and dear friends.
