Melinda Clark McDonald, 42, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home in Aledo. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2021 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Aledo Brown Cemetery in Aledo. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at White’s Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Melinda’s honor by calling 817-596-4811. Melinda was born July 30, 1979 in Mesa, Arizona, daughter of Al and Georgia Geneyne Clark. She married the love of her life, Davion McDonald on January 27, 2004. Melinda’s first love was her children, Davianna, Jaylon, and Jordan. Melinda was a longtime member of Aledo United Methodist Church and currently a member of South Main Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Aledo High School. Melinda was preceded in death by her father, Al Clark; brothers, Joseph Nephi DeRohwer, James David DeRohwer, and Rusty Clark. Survivors: Husband, Davion McDonald; children, Davianna Alyse McDonald, Jaylon Demarcus McDonald, and Jordan Davion McDonald; mother, Georgia Geneyne Clark; mother-in-law, Joanna McDonald; sister, Jereyne Cronin of Mesa, Arizona; brother, Tim DeRohwer and wife, Pam, of Chugiak, Alaska; sister, Rainie DeRohwer of Aledo; brothers, Matt DeRohwer of Weatherford, and Darien DeRohwer of Fairbanks, Alaska; sister, Letha Urban of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers-in-law, Lavord McDonald, and Muhammed McDonald, both of Fort Worth; special nephew, Jon DeRohwer and wife, Kristen, of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
