Mary Ina Moreland Newton

Mary Ina Moreland Newton, 81, of Azle, died Thursday, September 5, 2024 peacefully with family at her side. 

Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2024 at White's Azle Funeral Home

She was born  May 12, 1943 to Worth and Francis Mooreland. Mary was a big part of her community and always took pride in her Azle roots. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with an open heart. Mary was a devoted mother and gracious grandmother.

 Survivors: children, Doug (Shorty) Mayfield, Dorrie Mayfield, Robert Rainey, Marc Rainey and Tim Mayfield; grandchildren, Hannah Sawyer, Nathaniel Rainey, Ashtin Rainey, Will Rainey, DJ Mayfield, Chelsea Goodfellow and Cody Mayfield; 2 great-grandchildren, Brookelynn and Scarlett Rainey. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings, Doss and Bob Mooreland.
