Mary H. Warden, age 78, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in Burleson. A funeral is scheduled for Mary on Monday, May 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mineral Wells, with the interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at White’s Funeral Home. Bishop Don Connell will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary’s life. Mary was born on October 8, 1942 in Antlers, Oklahoma, to parents, Frankie and Katie Warden. She married Kenneth Harris in 1960 and the couple had two children together. In 1968, she moved to Mineral Wells and accepted a position as a Supervisor at Butler Ventamatic. In 1978, she moved to Abilene, where she held different positions at an auto parts store and then became a part of the family at Sun Supply Electric. She retired in 1988 when she moved back home to Mineral Wells, where she did what she loved the most, taking care of her family and she resided here for 23 years. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in gardening, painting, and sewing for most of her life. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, and cooking. Her family and friends will always remember her as an intelligent, strong, loving woman. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Frankie and Katie Warden, of Abilene; and her two sisters, Nadine Warden, and Judy Washburn. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Donna Minor and husband, Jimmy, and Kim Harris of Mineral Wells; her brother, Frankie Warden and wife, Susan; and two sisters, Shirley Bailey and Patricia Bruce; her grandchildren, Christopher Rose and wife, Crystal, Jacob Roe and wife, Alexa, Magen Murphy and husband, Patrick; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Rose, Raigen Roe, Parker Roe and Kord Murphy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
