Marlin Wayne Mills

Martin “Wayne” Mills, 95, born in Jetmore, Kansas, who resided in Mulvane for more than 40 years, passed away January 6, 2024, in Azle, Texas. Inurnment: 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 9, 2024, at DFW National Cemetery. He was a devoted family man and will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Wayne enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing in his early years. In his later years, he found great joy in spending time with his family and watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and wrestling. During his lifetime, Wayne honorably served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and continued his service as a civil servant for 25 years. He proudly fulfilled his duties in various locations, including Germany, Alaska, Arkansas, and Kansas. Additionally, he worked for many years for the Postal Service. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; and son, Boyd. Wayne is survived by his loving daughter, Glynda and husband, Mark; grandson, Tanner and wife, Alisha and their children, Anderson and Marin and his other grandson, Koby
