Mark Daniel Bray

Mark Daniel Bray died December 17th, 2020 at age 65 in Weatherford, TX. He was born on January 18, 1955 to Ellis E. and Frances B. Bray of Cedar Hill, TX. He graduated from Cedar Hill High School and earned a Masters Degree in Mathematics from East Texas State University, now Texas A&M Commerce. Mark married Jill Jernigan on May 23, 1981 in Wichita Falls, TX and they were happily married for almost 40 years. Together they raised four children, of whom he was always proud and supportive. After a long career as a software engineer with Lockheed Martin, he took early retirement in 2010. While retired, he enjoyed camping and traveling across the country and into Canada with his wife, Jill; golfing with his siblings; and spending time with his granddaughter. Mark is survived by his wife, Jill Bray of Weatherford; children, Clinton and his wife, Laura of Carrollton, Wade of Toronto, Ontario, Laura and partner, Nicholas Membrez-Weiler of Raleigh, NC, Kasey and fiancé, Dustin Hedmark of Nashville, TN; and one granddaughter, Jenni; siblings, John, Larry, Carl, and Loma. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Frances. The family is holding a private memorial service on December 26th. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Kate Rieves Scholarship Fund or Grace First Presbyterian Church, 606 Mockingbird Lane, Weatherford, Texas 76086
