Marilyn Clarice White

Marilyn Clarice (Dean) White, 84, gained her heavenly reward on the afternoon of Monday, September 18, 2023. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, in Springtown Cemetery, Springtown. Marilyn was born April 5, 1939 in Lovelady; daughter of George Wesley and Juanita (Broyles) Dean. She met the love of her life, George Allen White and they were married on May 25, 1957. They would go on to spend 66 happy years together raising their family. Marilyn would serve alongside her husband, who was the founding Pastor of Springtown Baptist Temple, for 26 years. Together, they touched countless lives. She is preceded in death by her parents; and just 7 days earlier, by her husband, Dr. George Allen White. Survivors include her children, Luther White (Marsha), Delbert White (Cheri), Luann Cantrell (Joey), Keith White, Jerushah Arnold (Ronnie); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and church family. Marilyn was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and friend to all; she will be missed by all who knew her.
