Lovingly known as Patricia, she was born February 17, 1950, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Patricia moved to Mineral Wells, Texas, at the age of 9, where she would spend the rest of her life surrounded by family, faith, and community. Patricia was a beacon of love and wisdom to all who knew her. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, George Luna Sr., as well as her parents, Ruben and Julia (Contreras) Gutierrez, and her brothers Ruben, Lazaro, Raul, and Roy Gutierrez.
Patricia dedicated over 20 years of her career to Philips Components and later found deep fulfillment in her work with refugees through Catholic Charities, where she served with compassion until her retirement.
A lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Patricia lived her faith fully and joyfully. She was a proud second-generation Guadalupana, active in Bible Study, the Rosary Ministry, the ACTS community, and previously a Cursillista. She also devoted many years to teaching CCD, sharing her love for God with children in surrounding communities.
Her gentle strength, unwavering faith, and wise counsel—always offered with love—touched the lives of countless people. Whether you knew her for years or only a moment, Patricia had a way of making you feel heard, cared for, and uplifted.
Survivors include her children, Veronica Luna, Jessica Gloria (Arthur), and George Luna Jr. (Dora); her grandchildren, Ben Gomez, AJ Gloria (Lupita), Megan Gloria, Xavier Barajas (Megan), George Patrick Luna, Julia Gloria, Julian Luna, Ariana Gloria, and Jovanny Luna; and ten cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loyal dog, Max, who brought her great joy and comfort.
Patricia's life was a reflection of grace, generosity, and deep faith. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always with love. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Patricia touched are invited to celebrate her life and legacy.
