Margaret Ellen Young

Margaret Ellen Young, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Fort Worth. Visitation: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Millsap, prior to the service. Funeral 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Millsap. Interment: Hill Cemetery in Parker County. Margaret was born January 22, 1939 in Fort Worth, daughter of Hershall and Mary Phillips Crumby. She met and married the love of her life, Joe Young on June 29, 1957 and they would go on to spend 64 happy years together. Margaret graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1957. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Millsap, where she served as church pianist for many years. Margaret enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Millsap Garden Club, the Millsap Quilting Club, and the Millsap Heritage Society. The most important thing in her life was her family and she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Loving husband, Joe Young; daughters, Kimberly Young-Echols, Mary Kay Young and Lisa Camille Young Gentry and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Teffany Kay Strickland, Cristal Camille McRae, Austin Reed Echols, Draye Young Densmore, Dansa Camille Densmore; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee Kamille Majors, and Kaycee Ann Drew Majors; two very special nephews, Doug and David Crumby; and many extended family members, church family and dear friends.
