Margaret Ann Weber, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 19, 2020. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, Weatherford. Visitation: 9 – 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Margaret was born August 6, 1930 in Colusa, California to Francis and Margaret Ann Cummings. She attended Catholic School in Colusa, California. Margaret later moved to Yuba City, California where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Yuba Community College in 1950 with an Associates Degree in Bookkeeping. Margaret married Merle G. Weber in May 21, 1952, and they were married for 11 years. Margaret was a bookkeeper for several companies over the years including Bossen Brothers Laundry, Sutter County Title Co., Merle Weber Trucking, Bobby Ingersoll Training. She worked as a secretary for the 1st Snaffle Bit Futurity in Sacramento, California, Jack Foy Dance Studio, Colleen’s Dance Factory from 1974-1998. Margaret traveled to Dance Competitions throughout the United States. She chaperoned Miss Yuba Sutter to fairs and festivals throughout Northern California, including the Miss California Scholarship Competition in San Jose, California. Margaret dedicated her life to helping her daughter run a successful dance school in California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Margaret Cummings; her former husband, Merle G. Weber. Survivors: Daughter Colleen Holt and husband, Thomas, of Weatherford; grandson, Brian Holt of Fort Worth; close family friend, Melissa Lyons; other relatives include Galleen Bumgarner of Yuba City, California, Bonnie Grussenmeyer of Lincoln, California, and June Skelley of Anchorage, Alaska.
