Lucille Marie Fitzgerald

Lucille Marie Fitzgerald, 95, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Weatherford.

Graveside Service:  10 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in Annetta Cemetery, Annetta.

Lucille was born July 30, 1928 in Texas, daughter of Martin Luther and Eldora Marie (Hope) Hill.  She lived in the same house in Weatherford for over 80 years.  Lucille married the love of her life, Tommy Fitzgerald, and they were together for 80 years.  

Lucille loved sewing, dancing with Paw (Tommy), raking the leaves in her yard and she cared deeply for her country.  She was a strong-willed, strong and independent lady who was very wise.   Lucille loved her family very much but she loved God above all.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldora and Luther Hill; husband, Tommy Fitzgerald; and daughter, Shirley EJ Saulter.

Lucille is survived by her children, Patricia Largent, Rebecca Riggs, and Robert Riggs; grandchildren, Jennifer and Keith Pope, Dodie and Delmer Lindley, Debbie Alston, Brett and Diane Riggs, Bryan and Cindy Riggs, Blake and Michelle Riggs, Robert Lynn Riggs, Brian Riggs, and Barry Saulter; 32 great-grandchildren; 40 great great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
