Loree Frances Potter, 102, passed away into the arms of her Savior and in the presence of her family, Saturday, January 20, 2024. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Springtown Church of Christ in Springtown, Tx. Interment: Friday, January 26, 2024, at Jaybird Cemetery, Reno, Tx. Loree was born September 3, 1921, in Jester, Oklahoma to John McDonald and Clara Stokes McDonald. She married Marshel Potter in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1942 and they had 52 blessed years together before his passing. She was a homemaker and caregiver, for friends and family, and was a very hard worker, running errands, buying groceries, and many people speak highly and positively of her abilities as a caregiver. They knew they could trust her to care for their loved ones. A faithful member of the Church of Christ, she served her Lord well and often. She loved quilting and made some beautiful quilts in her lifetime. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and will be missed and remembered by all her relatives and friends who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Oleen Hickman; brothers, George McDonald and Tommy Thompson; sisters, Jessie May Thompson and Verda Passmore. Loree is survived by her son, Charley Potter and wife Susan; grandchildren, Shane Hickman and wife Cindy, Shannon Hickman and wife Jennifer, Jonathan Potter, Cara Thames and husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Keaton Hickman and wife Kaylyn, Carson Hickman and wife Paige, Dexter Hickman and wife Heidi, Preston Potter, Allyson Potter, Tristan Thames, Brendan Thames, Eden Thames, Shelby Sears, Emma Cupps and husband Garrett; great-great-grandchildren, Ella Hickman, Willow Hickman, Kellen Hickman, Toryn Hickman.
