Leah Maella Graber

Leah Maella Wright Graber, 99, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford

The Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m.

Private Interment: Restland Cemetery, also known as Olney Cemetery in Olney.

Leah was born June 30, 1925 in Young County, Texas. She was the 7th out of 8 children born to Earnest and Nora Atcheley Wright. Leah was a graduate of Olney High School, Weatherford College, and Tarleton State University. She had many jobs throughout her life, but retired from TABC as an auditor.

Leah lived by her Christian values and was an active member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Retired Teacher’s Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma. Leah volunteered at Weatherford Hospital and worked the elections for numerous years. She played the harmonica with the Sensational Senior Singers who performed at a lot of the assisted living facilities.

Leah was preceded in death by her third son, Donny; her parents; and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry Graber and wife, Darlene, and Ken Graber and wife, Martha; five granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to College Park Rehabilitation and Care Center staff for the care, love, and respect given to Leah for almost 3 years. Every one of you are very special people. Thank you!
