Laurie Ann Haugh, of Azle passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. at Ash Creek Cemetery, S Stewart St, Azle 76020. Both Laurie and Kevin, who was previously cremated, will be interred together. Laurie is survived by her son, Kyle Haugh (Sarah); daughters, Jillian Haugh (Joseph), Shannon Haugh, and Lisa Fuller (Ben); brothers, Jim (Sue) McDowell and Randy McDowell; sister, Theophania Wahnon; grandchildren, Jacob, Delta, Chase, Anastasia, Kyleigh, and Ian. Laurie and Kevin moved to Azle in 1996 for Kevin's work with American Airlines. Both parents were active participants in their children's many extracurricular activities. Laurie and Kevin always loved adventure. Laurie was always planning new trips that would take the family somewhere new using Kevin's flight benefits. Highlights include trips to the Grand Canyon and Vegas, Disneyland, and trips home to see family in their native New York. The couple had found a love of cruising, taking two separate trips in the years preceding Kevin's death in 2013. After Kevin passed away Laurie became a woman on the move. First she lived in Kentucky and received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Northern Kentucky University (a lifelong goal). Laurie continued traveling the world after Kevin's death, visiting over 18 countries including Denmark, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Panama, and Colombia. Laurie returned to Azle in 2018 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Laurie was a woman of faith and had deeply missed her husband. Kevin passed on November 29, 2013 almost 9 years apart.
