Larry G. Stuart

Larry Gayle Stuart, 75, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 in Weatherford. Memorial Visitation: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Larry was born May 2, 1947 in Alexandria, Louisiana, son of Alvin and Pauline (Scribner) Stuart. He graduated from Louisiana College and attended Southwestern Seminary. Larry served as Minister of Music in several church across Texas. After retiring from his Music Ministry, he began a new career as a substitute teacher in the Azle ISD. He loved it! And he loved all kids! Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Stuart; daughter, Michelle Marquiess (Jeff); granddaughter, Ashley Rosales; grandson, Matthew Marquiess; and his new little buddy, Toby, who misses him very much.
