Lanell McDuff

FORT WORTH - Dorothy Lanell McDuff, 79, passed away May 12, 2021. Graveside: 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Bethel Cemetery in Funston (FM 2746). Visit: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 in White's Chapel of Memories Weatherford. Lanell was born May 27, 1941 to T.C. "Speck" McDuff and Lucille McDuff of Anson, Texas. She graduated from high school in Anson in 1959 and attended Draughon's Business College in Abilene. Lanell worked at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth for 29 years and retired as a logistics analyst from Lockheed in 2004. She was a member of Prairie View Baptist Church. Lanell is survived by her daughter, Sondra Higgs and husband, Gary Higgs of Benbrook; granddaughter, Melissa Tobias and husband, Jay Tobias of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Elijah of Fort Worth; sister, Jannett Miers and family of San Angelo; and long-time friend, Jerri Jernigan of Azle.
