Kevin Eugene Callahan

Kevin Eugene Callahan, age 68, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 in Azle, Texas.

Kevin will be honored with a ceremony and burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy. in Dallas at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Kevin was born on June 28, 1957, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Leonard Callahan and Mary Hicks. After graduation from Wayne High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kevin served in the United States Army before retiring from Swagelok.

Kevin was a member of Crossing Fellowship Church in Azle, where he was loved by many friends.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Frank Hicks; sister, Roberta Luffman; and stepson, Thomas Gordon.

Kevin is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Milewski, Jessica Callahan, and Samantha Callahan; two stepdaughters, Shelly Swincicki, and Sarah Gordon; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Hicks; one sister, Deborah (Ed) Bedoun; and one brother, Patrick (Carmela) Callahan.
