He graduated from BPC High School in Bushnell, Illinois in 2003. Following graduation, Kendall attended Western Illinois University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in political science. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree, Kendall moved to Washington DC to work with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce before relocating to Texas in 2008. Kendall attended graduate school at Texas State University prior to making Fort Worth, Texas his home. Kendall had a genuine passion for the outdoors, traveling, music, movies, and literature. He was larger-than-life, outgoing and vivacious, and always looked for the best in people. Kendall was a compassionate person with a huge heart and will forever be remembered by all those who loved him around this world for his love of family and friends. He was a loving and devoted partner, brother, son, uncle, and a great role model to Aubrey. For those who knew him, our fondest moments will be the road trips and concerts, movie nights and debates, smiles and laughter. We remember the help he gave building a tiny house, volunteering at Aubrey’s school, and feeding the homeless. More of our favorite memories are the Marvel and Harry Potter movie marathons, the debates on politics and policy, and simply the talks about the future. Kendall selflessly gave his time to those he loved and cared for, but nothing gave him more joy than time spent with the ladies in his life…his fiancé and her daughter, his mother, sister, niece and Lexi, his sugar bear. He will be missed. Kendall is survived by his fiancé and her daughter, Melanie Hammond and Aubrey Hammond; mother, Misty Bainter; father, Mark Hammond (Linda); and sister, Kristen Hammond (Luis Berroteran), and his beloved niece, Kaia.
