Kelly Don Russell, 61, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his home in Weatherford. 

Visitation: 4 -6 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories. 
Entombment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, Weatherford. 

Kelly was born January 21, 1963 in Pampa, son of J. Q. and Helen (Richardson) Russell. He met the love of his life, Thresa and they were married on January 15, 2002 and they would go on to spend 22 happy years together. Kelly was a Master Electrician, who loved the outdoors. He loved his guns, and also enjoyed fishing and camping. He also had a huge interest in all things Sci-Fi, including Star Trek and Lost in Space Kelly was a strong man of faith, who loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was also very musical. He loved to sing and play drums, talents that he also instilled in his boys. The thing that will best be remembered about Kelly was his quick wit, and how much he loved to laugh. He always had a joke to share and his one-liners will live on for generations to come, as will his ability to speak fluent Pig Latin. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Cody Russell and Christopher Russell. 

Kelly is survived by his beloved wife, Thresa Russell; children, Stephanie Hunt (Jarrod), and Jacob Fincher (Caitlin); grandchildren, Jonathan Hunt (Laykin), Makenzie Hunt, Madisyn Hunt, Anayah Russell, Ryland Russell, Isabella Russell, Nash Beauchamp, and Mabel Fincher; brothers, Jay Russell, and Mike Russell; sister, Charlene Cox; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
