Katie "Kay" Marie Williams

Katie Marie “Kay” Williams, 72, passed away Friday May 27, 2022 in Weatherford. Graveside Service: 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Veal Station Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at White’s Funeral Home, Springtown. Kay was born September 6, 1949 in Paducah, TX; daughter of Sylvester and Katie Bell (Ross) White. She married the love of her life, Freddy Arnold Williams on June 11, 1973, and they would go on to spend nearly 50 years together raising their family. Kay was a homemaker, caregiver, cosmetologist, and an avid quilter. She spent many Tuesdays in the fellowship hall of First Methodist Church of Springtown with other quilters of the community She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Travis Williams; brothers, Hank, Edward, and Jerry White; and sisters, Jean Vanderbeek and Melba Jo White; seven nieces; and five nephews Survivors include her loving husband, Fred Williams; Daughter, Katie Catron (Eric); grandchildren Sarah and Travis; and a host of other extended family and friends.
