Junelynn Palmer DuPree, born on January 11, 1955, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, left this world far too soon on December 25, 2023, in Boyd, Texas. Visitation: 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at White's Funeral Home, Azle. Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at White's Azle Chapel. Lynn was a woman of boundless energy and passion. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1973, she then went on too many career opportunities. She ended her working life at the Azle Wal-Mart for 10+ years, where she fell in love with her town. She married the love of her life, Bobby, in 1991, and together they embarked on a journey that would forever change their lives. Some of Lynn’s greatest joys were Music, Dancing, Sunsets, Dragons, her cats, and family. She had a special love for each of her children and grandchildren. She was known for her infectious laughter and her ability to light up any room. At the age of 68, Lynn had already experienced a lifetime's worth of adventures. To her, everyone was a friend, and she cherished every moment spent with loved ones. She was incredibly proud of her children, Richard Allen Phillips II, Christina Nicole DuPree, And Preston Benjamin DuPree; as well as her 9 grandchildren. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lynn DuPree; Mother, June Gifford Gilbert , Father Bruce Gilbert; and her beloved sister, Leilani Drake Watkins. JuneLynn is survived by her children, Richard Allen Phillips II, Christina Nicole DuPree, Preston Benjamin Dupree; she is also remembered by her 9 grandchildren, Brooklyn Jade Phillips, Katelyn Briane Phillips, Colton Allen Phillips, Zayleigh Dawn Phillips, Tinsleigh Kayde Phillips, Benjamin James Lynn DuPree, Nolan Avery Collins, Bobby Christopher DuPree and Briane Joyce DuPree; along with numerous extended family members and friends who were touched by her vibrant spirit. Junelynn Palmer DuPree lived her life to the fullest, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. “Our legacy is really the lives we touch, the inspiration we give, altering someone's plan - if even for a moment - and getting them to think, cry, laugh, argue.
