Judy Kyann Carpenter, 68, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. A private memorial lunch will be held at a later date. Judy was born April 21, 1954 in Littlefield, Texas, and grew up around Littlefield, Texas, and Clovis, New Mexico. She was married to her husband, Thomas Allen Carpenter, for 43 years, and they lived and raised their children in Weatherford, Texas. Judy was a kind soul who was known for bringing people into her home to live if they needed help, and she listened with all of her heart when someone needed to talk. She cared deeply about her relationship with God and studied the Bible much of the time. Judy was fun and joyful to be around. She loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She never passed up a moment to play dress up or cowboys and cowgirls with her grandkids. Judy was so very proud of her husband, children, and grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her father, William “Dub” Collier; son, Rowdy Strong; and her sisters, Donna Collier, Kandy Gaines, and Polly Fish. Judy is survived by her husband, Thomas Allen Carpenter, of Weatherford, Texas; her mother, Jane Blackburn of Abilene, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law Jolene and Robert DuBoise, of Weatherford, Texas; her daughter-in-law - (wife of late son Rowdy) - Kayla, and husband, Larry Don Harvey of Peaster, Texas; her grandchildren, Austin Strong, Christian and Jackson DuBoise, Coy and wife Blair Strong, Daria and husband Ryan Morse, and Dustin and wife Beverly Rich; her great-grandchildren, Alizabeth, Rowdy, Tanner, and Tyler Morse, Avery, Cori, and Jolee Strong, and Brayden and Eli Rich of Peaster, Texas; her sisters, Carolyn Holliday of Conroe, Texas, and Sandy Brooks of Weatherford, Texas; her brother, Jeff Collier, of Mountainburg, Arkansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all around. We will greatly miss you Judy. We love you.
