Joshua Clayton Taylor

Joshua Clayton Taylor, 26, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. 

Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Waterhouse Church, 1010 S. Bowie Dr., Weatherford. 

Interment: Zion Hill Cemetery, corner of Zion Hill and Johnson Bend Roads, Parker County.

 Joshua was born June 8, 1996 to Christopher Taylor and April Woodard in Weatherford. He was an excellent carpenter, following in his father’s footsteps. Joshua loved to play guitar and had a passion for mixed martial arts. He was a gifted young man who excelled in whatever he chose to do. Joshua had a deep love for his daughter and enjoyed every minute he could spend with her. Joshua was loved by all who met him. He had a gift for lighting up a room when he walked into it and always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He will be greatly missed!

Joshua is survived by his father, Christopher Taylor and step-mother, Rashonda Taylor; his mother, April Woodard; siblings, Meagan Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Tristen Crabtree, Trebor McFarland, and Kya McFarland; and his daughter, Ellie Taylor; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a multitude of friends who he loved deeply.
