Joseph "Joe" Robert Gerlich

Joseph (Joe) Robert Gerlich, 92, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 in Weatherford.

 Funeral Mass: 2:00 PM, Friday at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rosary: 7:00 PM, Thursday at White’s Funeral Home, Weatherford. 

Social distancing and masks will be required for both services.

 Memorials: The family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels in your community.

 Joe was the son of Alfons A. and Anna Pratt Gerlich. He was born in Prague, Oklahoma on November 27, 1927. Joe was married to Florine McKeon. He worked his entire life in the grocery business. Joe volunteered many years for the Meals on Wheels program. As a devoted Catholic, he sang in the choir and served as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister and Lector for many years. Joe was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus. 

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Florine; his parents; his brothers, Vernon and John; and his sister, Louise.

 Survivors: Joe is survived by his sister, Rose Ann Tschoepe; and many nieces and nephews.
