John Powell, Jr.

John Powell, Jr. passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at Medical City Arlington in Arlington, Texas.

Visitation: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026 at White’s Mineral Wells Chapel, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells.

John was a huge fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team and motorcycles. He was a hard worker who did not like to miss a day of work. John worked at AAA Cooper in Grand Prairie, Texas for 25 years.

His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, watching old television shows, listening to 80's music, and going on vacations with his family.

He will be forever loved and missed by everyone he was surrounded by.

John leaves behind his wife, Susan; his daughter, Olivia; his mother, Sara Powell; his sister, Janet (Mike) Bostic; his brother, Keith Powell, Bob (Anne) Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews.
