Joe David Smith

Joe David Smith, of Azle, TX, passed away, at the age of 70, on Friday, January 29, 2021. Visitation: 10:00 am until service time on Saturday February 6, 2021 at Whites Funeral Home in Azle, Texas. Funeral service: 11:00 am at White’s Azle Chapel with Brother Lynch officiating. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Joe was born in Odessa, Texas, to Walter Harrison Smith and Mildred Brents, on August 31, 1950. He married Cozy, his wife of thirty seven years, on September 5, 1973. Joe was a Master Plumber by trade and a skilled man that educated himself and succeeded in anything that he set his mind to. Joe David Smith is proceeded in death by his wife, Marie Cozette Smith; his son, Jackie Harrison Smith; and his son-in-law, Stephen Wayne Myres. Joe is survived by his son, Joe Preston and wife, Leann and and their children, Zade, Gatlyn and Evalee; daughter, Angell and husband, Charles and their children, Lukas, Jackie, Crae and Katy; daughter, Brandi and husband, Desmend; and their children, Cheyanne, Dylan, Blaze, Brooklynn and Knox. Pallbearers will be Zade Smith, Lukas Myres, Gatlyn Smith, Lyle Davis, Dustin Blaylock, Roy McMinn, Scott Tucker, Clifford Merrifield, Brodrick Farrar and son, Joe Preston.
