Joe Dean Johnson

Weatherford, Texas - Joe Dean Johnson, 64, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 from a massive stroke. Joe was born July 1, 1959 to Charles D. Johnson and Peggy E. Pafford in Weatherford, Texas. He was a commercial contractor for many years and he was an avid golfer and hunter for most of his life. Joe was a longtime member of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse for 43 years. Survivors: Wife, Lana Gilstrap Johnson; son, Cody Johnson and wife, Jaana; daughter, Shannon Brown and husband, James; along with one grandson, Cutter Johnson; and many other loving family members and friends. Per Joe’s wishes, there will be no service.
