Jimmy Charles Shuttlesworth passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Azle. Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at White’s Azle Chapel, Azle. Jimmy was born February 20, 1939, in Frost, Texas, son of Grayson and Elma (Crutchfield) Shuttlesworth. He met and married the love of his life, Loretta Lu Brown and they were married June 6, 1959, in the Rio Grande Valley. They spent 64 happy years together raising their family. Jimmy served in the Unites States Army during the Berlin Crisis Era and worked in the cable television industry for 35 + years in various locations. Jimmy loved the Lord and shared his faith with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Toby Shuttlesworth, Donnie Shuttlesworth and Gerald Shuttlesworth; and sisters, Shirley Rogers, Maxy Tarver, and Bobbie Smith; grandson, Brandon Beebe. Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 64 years, Loretta Shuttlesworth; sons, Keith Shuttlesworth of Markham, TX, Kurt Shuttlesworth and wife, Jana of Duncan OK; and daughter, Glenna Cole of Azle, TX; brother, Fred Shuttlesworth; sister, Barbara Streckfus; he is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
