Jimmy Earl Sellers

Jimmy Earl Sellers, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Celebration of Life:  11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024 at GracePointe Church, 4110 E. Hwy.  199, Springtown, Texas 76082.

Jimmy was born in Lake Worth, Texas on May 6, 1944.  He met his wife, Wanda, in 1959 and they married shortly after. They had 3 girls and 1 son. Jimmy was self-employed and was a cowboy at heart. He spent his free time outdoors riding horses, roping, fishing, and hunting. His greatest joy was playing with his grandkids. Jimmy has a large extended family and enjoyed watching football with his nieces and nephews. Anytime you came to his house he had a rodeo playing on the TV. Jimmy was the heart of this family, and his presence will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilburn Earl and Letha Ann Sellers; and his son, Jimmy Earl  “Jimbo” Sellers, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Wanda; his children, Tammy Curry, Tina Clay and husband, Jerry, and Teresa Kirkpatrick; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.
