Jimmy Wayne Campbell

On April 15, 2021, Jimmy Wayne Campbell, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 83. Funeral service: Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Gorman Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, April 19, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. Jimmy was born October 13, 1937 in Gorman, Tx. to Mitchell and Lucille Campbell. He retired from Lockheed Martin in the year 2000. In the thirty years he worked there he enjoyed climbing the ladder to end in management. On May 21, 1956 he married Ora Mae Frost, they were married for 64 years. They raised two girls, Janey Orlene and Deana Maxine. Jimmy loved woodworking, golfing and in his younger years, fishing. Among a great list of other things, he had a knack for telling stories of all his year of life. He was such a giving, loyal and compassionate man. Jimmy Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell, mother, Lucille, daughter Janey, brother Lane, sister Mary and grandson, Josh. He is survived by his wife Ora Mae, daughter Deana and her husband, Mike, grandchildren Cynthia and her husband, Jeff, Charles and his wife, Lea, Nichole, John, Samantha, Amber and her husband Zackery; greatgrandchildren Brandon, Stephen, Evan, Ashley, Melanie, Judea, Gali, Mara, Bailey, Janey, Eli, Korra and Jett; brother Larry and his wife Joy; several nieces and nephews.
