Jesse Joe Anguiano Sr, 85, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, after a long and fulfilling life.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 am, Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in the little chapel, 108 N.W. 4th Avenue, Mineral Wells. A Rosary will be at 10:30 am.

Internment: Following Mass, Grave service at Woodland Park Cemetery, 2600 Hwy 281 South, Mineral Wells, Texas.

Jesse was born in Bennett, Texas on June 15, 1940.

Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Wanita, and daughter, Tammy.

He worked in Mineral Wells, Texas at the Baker Hotel, Fort Wolters, and retired from the CCA prison system in 2013.

Jesse was a great athlete and excelled in baseball. He coached and mentored youth baseball and basketball for many years in Mineral Wells. Jesse had many hobbies, including fishing and golfing. He was an avid bowler for team Road Runners.

He is survived by son, Jesse Anguiano Jr; daughter, Diana Benton (Robert); grandchildren, Westin Pedigo (Shelby), TJ Anguiano, Michelle Sexton (Blaze); great-grandchildren, Berlyn, Macie, and Suade Sexton; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
