Jerry was born in Breckenridge, Texas on May 31, 1941 to Stanley and Josephine Gray.
He attended Polytech High School before beginning a long career in retail, as a Manager at Mott’s in Haltom City. Eventually, he returned to retail, serving as a Regional Manager for Dollar General, a role he excelled in until retirement.
Once he retired, he built his dream home in the mountains of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, a place he cherished deeply. In his later years, he returned to Texas, where he spent the remainder of his life surrounded by family & friends.
Throughout his life, Jerry found joy in the great outdoors, being in the mountains, spending time at his ranch, and enjoying days out on the lake in his boat. He also had a love for football and could happily spend hours watching games on tv. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and created many wonderful memories that his family will cherish for years to come.

Jerry will be remembered as a hardworking man, a loving father, and a devoted grandfather. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, stories, and love that will continue to live on through his family and all those who were blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that his work here is done and that he is now at peace, resting in the presence of the Lord. His love and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him, carrying his legacy forward for generations to come.
