Jere Ann Brinkley

Jere Ann Brinkley, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 21, 2022 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Jere was born July 31, 1941 in Fort Worth to J.D. and Bertha Rose Green. She spent several years managing apartment communities throughout the metroplex before retiring. Jere was so proud of her work at Easter Seal, Fort Worth Nature Center and the Fort Worth Zoo. She was a proud grandmother and mother to her immediate and extended family. Jere is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Norbert Brinkley; parents, JD and Bertha Rose Green; and brother, Donnie Green. Survivors: Son, Gary Don and wife, Carolyn Brinkley; daughter, Robin Shifflett and husband, Tony; grandchildren, Madeline Rose Brinkley and son, Luke Steven Brinkley; sister-in-law, Gloria Brinkley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. .
