Jedediah Clark Perkins was born on January 10, 1986, in Ottawa, Illinois to William and Darlene Perkins. Jed was a loving and loyal son, brother, and father who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 38.

He is survived by his cherished partner, Ashley Morrow, with whom he shared thirteen wonderful and happy months with and whom he had planned to marry. He leaves behind four children, Jedediah (17), Jeremy (15), Kaitlyn (11), and Madison (8), and was a large part of the lives of Ashley’s children as well. He greatly enjoyed his time with his kids, including camping, and attending school and sporting events. Jed was beloved, and leaves behind a large circle of family, including seven siblings and many friends who held him dear.

Jed served in the United States Army as a young man before going on to a dedicated career as a HVAC and appliance technician. He was an avid fisherman, having spent time in his childhood fishing with his grandfather, and he loved taking his children fishing as well. Jed had a passion for music and enjoyed concerts and playing guitar, and had recently developed an interest in gardening, especially peppers and tomatoes. His greatest love though was for his children and family who will always remember his infectious smile, wry sense of humor, and his charismatic personality that lit up every room he was in.

“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure”.
