Jeanne Fae Holmes

Jeanne Fae (Wills) Holmes, age 79, went peacefully to be with Jesus on August 22,2026.

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Memory Gardens of the Valley, Weatherford.

Jeanne was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on January 31, 1947, to Foss and Frankie Wills. Jeanne was the oldest of four siblings and a loving big sister to Judy, Danny, and David. She dedicated 40 years of her life to caring for others as a medical assistant, a career that reflected the kindness and compassion she carried throughout her life. On September 6,1986, Jeanne married the love of her life, James Holmes. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Jeanne loved life and found joy in the simple things- spending time with her family, shopping, caring for her beloved animals, and her place at the lake. She had a true servant’s heart and was always willing to help others. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her caring nature, her unwavering love for her family, and the way she always made people feel loved and welcomed.

Jeanne is survived by her loving husband, James Holmes; her sister, Judy (Robert) Toler; brothers, Danny Wills, David (Annette) Wills; mother-in-law, Nancy Holmes; sisters-in-law, Page (Rick) Mosley, Cyndy (Godo) Calvo, Kelli (Russ) Wesley, Judy (Rod) Blackburn, and Susan Holmes; as well as her nieces, nephew, great-nephew, great-nieces, cousins, and many dear friends.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing we find comfort knowing that she is now with Jesus, free from pain, and surrounded by eternal peace. She was deeply loved, she will be greatly missed, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
