Jean Sanders "Huff" Polston

Jean Sanders "Huff" Polston passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Memorials: Donations can be made to the Mineral Wells Animal Shelter. Jean graduated from Mineral Wells High School. She then attended Adams Business School. In the 1960's, she worked at the Mineral Wells Index as the Society Editor, Civil Service at Fort Wolters, and later finished her career as a secretary for a private company. She LOVED singing, music, animals, and shopping! And she was an avid reader her whole life! She is preceded in death by her parents, C.G. and Verna Willis Sanders; and youngest daughter, Susan "Huff" Armstrong. Survivors: Daughters, Rebecca "Huff" Coleman and Merry Randall "Huff" Dell (Jim), both of Mineral Wells; brother, Monte B. Sanders (Carolyn) of Cary, North Carolina; sister, Jacqueline Phelps of Corpus Christi, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; as well as many cousins. Special thanks to all staff at Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab. They were lovely to Jean and went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of.
