Jasmin Esperanza Gartin, 34, passed away, Sunday, August 15, 2026.
Service: 9:00 am, August 28, 2026 at White's Funeral Home Chapel, Mineral Wells, Texas.
Interment: Following Service, Memory Gardens of the Valley at Weatherford, Texas.
Jasmin was born July 10, 1992 in El Paso to Hector Lopez and Laura Rios. She lived a life defined by her unwavering faith in God, her love for her family, and her genuine compassion for everyone she encountered.
Jasmin was a woman of extraordinary faith. Her faith was stronger than anyone who knew her could describe. Through every trial and every difficult season, she held firmly to her belief in God and trusted in His plan. Her relationship with the Lord was at the very center of who she was. She was a cherished member of Sukkat Shalom Messianic Congregation, where her faith and love for God were an important part of her life.
Above all else, Jasmin treasured being a wife and mother. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Earl Gartin, whom she loved deeply and cared for with her whole heart. She always made sure Kenneth was taken care of, loved, and supported. Their marriage was a testament to the love and devotion she poured into the people closest to her.
Jasmin was also an amazing mother to her four children: Melanie Beatrice Marquez, age 15; Bryan Elijah Marquez Jr., age 13; Malachi Kenneth Gartin, age 6; and Elaine Elyse Gartin, age 1. Her children adored their mother. They loved spending time with her, laughing together, cracking jokes, and simply being around her. Being a mother was one of Jasmin's greatest joys, and she always dreamed of having a large family surrounded by love. Jasmin's love extended far beyond her immediate family. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and treasured every opportunity to spend time with the people she cared about. She was a friend to everyone. She was never one to be rude or turn someone away, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her kindness, gentleness, and willingness to love others made her someone who was deeply loved by many.
Professionally, Jasmin worked as a Call Center Supervisor for Insperity, where she brought the same dedication and care that characterized every part of her life. Jasmin dreamed of traveling and seeing more of God's creation. She longed to take trips throughout the United States and around the world, making memories with the people she loved. Jasmin's life was ultimately a reflection of what mattered most to her: God, her husband, her children, her family, and the people she loved. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the faith she lived will continue through the lives of her children, her husband, her family, and everyone blessed to have known her.
Jasmin is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Earl Gartin; and her four beloved children, Melanie, Bryan, Malachi, and Elaine. She is also survived by her father, Hector Lopez; her mother, Laura Rios; her brother, Hector Lopez Jr.; and her sister, Laura Lopez; along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved her dearly.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that Jasmin's faith was never shaken and that she placed her hope and trust in the Lord.
