Janet Faye Hargrove

Janet Faye Hargrove, 86, loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church of Azle.

Janet was born on July 24, 1940, in Cisco, TX to Joe B and Blodwyn Hall. She graduated from Abilene High School and attended Texas Tech University before meeting the Love of her life, Gene Hargrove who she married on July 11, 1959. Janet was heavily embedded in her church and community, stepping in as a “2nd” mom, grandmother and counselor to many.

She will be greatly missed.

Janet is preceded in death by her loving husband Gene Hargrove; and parents, Blodwyn and Joe B Hall.

Survivors include sister, Joanne Estes; sons, Brent and Randy; daughter, Denise; grandchildren, Sunni Boenker Wheelwright, Chase and Kensi Boenker and Jake and Emma Hargrove.
