Janet Fay Burch

Janet Fay (Wilson) Burch, 62, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 in Weatherford Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Jan was born April 20, 1960, daughter of Elbert Ray and Minnie Lee (Avery) Wilson. Jan was a kind soul that always made everyone feel welcome. She was family oriented and loved to spend her time with those she cherished as often as she could. Jan had an incredibly soft heart for animals to which she provided a welcoming home for her four dogs that she loved dearly. Jan operated a pilot car company for over 10 years with her life partner, John Dugan. She was extremely ambitious and head strong when she set her mind to something she wanted to accomplish. Jan was an exceptionally talented woman that enjoyed painting and crafts, as she would often create holiday décor for members of her family to show her love and create smiles on each of our faces. Jan was no stranger to cooking and baking; she loved to cook for her loved ones and ensured there was never a want or need for anything additional once she cooked for you. She enjoyed taking a break to fish with friends and family when the opportunity presented itself. Jan was a loving mother, life partner, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her life partner, John Dugan; son, Joe Burch; brother, Bill Wilson; and sister, Lynda Pete.
