James "Jimmy" Edmund Dunn

James Edmund ”Jimmy” Dunn passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Jimmy was born May 24, 1934 in Weatherford, son of Emmett and Evelyn (Wallis) Dunn. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Weatherford who proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean war. Following his military service Jimmy worked at Fort Wolters as a helicopter mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Frances (Neves) Dunn; and his brother, Jack Lee Dunn. He is survived by his niece, Amy Dunn Hayden. A Celebration of life is being planned in January for both Jimmy and Frances.
