James Thomas Jenkins

James Thomas Jenkins, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his home in Weatherford, with his family by his side.

Visitation: 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, with the Graveside Service beginning at 2 p.m.

James was born April 4, 1948 in Newfoundland, son of William T. Jenkins and Mary Katherine (Grissom) Jenkins. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1966 and attended college at Weatherford Jr. College. James worked as an Assistant Manager for Don Woodruff Auto Supply retiring after 38 years.

James enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, hunting and listening to music, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his brothers, Steve Jenkins of Glendale, Arizona, and Gary Jenkins of Onalaska, Texas; nieces and nephew, Chad Jenkins, Leah Jenkins, and Jenna N. Jenkins; great nephew, Noah Jenkins; cousin, John Grissom; and a host of extended family members and many friends.
