Dr. Jack Mobley, 86, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Azle Christian Church. Jack Mobley was born January 13, 1932 in Abilene to James Clarence and Viola Beatrice Mobley. He attended high school in Midland and went on to attend Texas A&M. Jack finished his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. It was there that he met the love of his life, Carolyn a nursing student. They married in September of 1956. Jack did his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The couple moved to Azle in 1960 where he practiced medicine and retired after 32 years of practice in 1992. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Nancy Mobley. The family would like to thank Dr. Marshall Morrison for his loving care of Jack and would also like to thank his caregivers, Brianna Underwood and Chris Wander for all they did for Jack. Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Carolyn Mobley; sons, Douglas Mobley and wife, Nancy, Bart Mobley and wife, Peggy; daughter, Dana Stacy; grandchildren, Tyler Mobley and wife, Gen, Trent Mobley and wife, Lorin, Matt Mobley and wife, Amanda, Paige Mobley, Ryan Stacy and Lauren Trukhina and husband, Arthur; great-grandchildren, Meyer Mobley, Kaydence Stacy and Dimitri Trukhina; and a host of friends and extended family.
