Iva Dell Taylor, age 94, transitioned from this life to her eternal home on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Born on August 11, 1931, to Dora and Alvie Hall, she grew up in the Windom/Honey Grove region. She married Terrell Taylor on September 1, 1951, in Bonham, Texas, and together they raised two daughters, enjoying 65 years of marriage until his passing in 2017.
Iva Dell cherished being called "Mamaw" by her four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and she found great joy in being with her family, loving them deeply. Above all, her love for her Lord was paramount. Her commitment to Jesus influenced her life, as she served others with kindness and embodied a servant's heart. During their time in ministry, she and Terrell served as pastors, state overseers, and state evangelism directors, and she cherished every facet of their work.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Holt, and her husband, Doug, from Paris; her son-in-law, Jerrel Tomlin, and his wife, Melanie, from Mineral Wells; her grandchildren, Amber Holt Winters and her husband, Robbie, from Cleveland, Tennessee, Chace Holt and his wife, Kaylie, from Paris, Jerry Tomlin and his wife, Maycan, from Mineral Wells, and Taylor Tomlin and his wife, Sheridan, from Weatherford; along with her great-grandchildren, Lilly, Luke, and Holt Winters, Lincoln, Gibson, and Owen Holt, Cade and Carsyn Tomlin, and Jonas, Whitley and Emersyn Tomlin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Taylor; her daughter, Melinda Tomlin; her parents, Dora and Alvie Hall; her brother, Euel Hall; her brother, Ancil Hall, and his wife, Mozelle; her sister, Geneva Bost; her sister, Joyce Hall; and many other beloved family members.
Today, she is reunited with Terrell and Melinda, and most importantly, her Savior—hearing the words she dedicated her life to hearing: "Well done, good and faithful servant!”
