Howell Mills Waldrup III

Mills Waldrup, 23, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025.

The family will have a private Memorial Service.

Born on August 12, 2001, Mills was a thoughtful, curious, and kind-hearted soul. He had a passion for gaming, movies, and music – and a remarkable talent for remembering every detail, from directors’ names to obscure artists and trivia. Mills shared his easy laugh, patient kindness and generosity with everyone he encountered on his journey and his authenticity was evident in everything he did.

Above all, Mills loved spending time with his family and with his closest friends – those who opened their homes and gave their friendship so genuinely to him. Mills brought joy into our lives with his cheerful and relaxed disposition, and blessed us by sharing his time, his heart, and his beautiful spirit.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Amy Waldrup; his sister, Elle Abel; his brother, Alex Waldrup; his best friend, Christian Hanaghan; and his beloved grandparents, Pat and Bubba Roberts.

Mills will forever live in our hearts and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Each of us is richer for experiencing Mills’ grace and warmth and love he gave so freely to all of us.
