Herlinda "Linda" Bell

August 1, 1947 — February 15, 2022

Linda Bell, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 18, 2022 at White's Azle Chapel. Linda grew up in South Texas as the middle child of 3. She first married in 1964 and was blessed with 4 wonderful children, Cynthia, Baldemar, Sonia and Veronica. Linda met her true love, Larry Bell, while working for Texas A&M University-Galveston. She married Larry Bell in 1995. She was overjoyed and felt extremely blessed to have gained 2 more sons with Larry and Patrick. Her steadfast faith and love for Jesus was always on display and strong in her heart. She was a devout Catholic. She would often travel to Amarillo to spend time with her beautiful sister, Almalinda, and her 101 year old mother, Santitos. Those who knew Linda know how much she enjoyed spending her time in prayer, which included praying her Rosary daily. She would often say I have to go it's time for me to go pray my Rosary. Linda was consistent in praying her Rosary every day at the same time. She took her first breath in Heaven at 2:28 PM- the exact time she chose to pray her Rosary here on Earth. Linda also enjoyed taking cruises with her family. But most importantly, she loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was overjoyed with her new great-grandchild, Laney Brooke Frankum. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Eliseo Armando Barrera, Jr.; and brother, Armando (Mando). She is survived by her Mother, Santos Gonzalez; husband, Larry Bell; sister, Almalinda Lawrence; daughter, Cynthia Salem and husband, Henry; grandchildren, Candice Frankum and husband, Cory, Madison Riek and husband, Trevor, and Reagan Salem; great-grandchild, Laney Brooke Frankum; son: Baldemar Ortiz Jr. and wife, Cindy; granddaughters, Claire and Cameron; daughter, Sonia Sturrock and husband, Sean; granddaughter, Alexandra and grandson, Dalton Sturrock; daughter: Veronica Jones and husband, David; granddaughters, Payton, Paige and Brooke Camera; grandsons, Noah and Nicholas Jones; sons: Larry and Patrick Bell.
