Herbert Loman “Herb” Miller, 84, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, step-grandfather and friend, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Weatherford. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Herb was born November 10, 1938 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, son of Bob Woodrow and Paralee Mozelle (Wilson) Miller. He was a fun-loving, great man. Herb was a rare, lucky man – he lived a content life and peacefully passed away feeling loved, cared for and surrounded by his great family and friends! Herb was a kind, giving, hardworking, honest man with a great sense of humor and he was great at storytelling. He had such a big heart, always helping anyone one who needed it, without judgment nor questions. If you shared a problem or secret with him, he kept it. Herb enjoyed cooking, watching football, collecting baseball cards, horses, gardening and playing card games and puzzles with his family. He loved, loved, loved spending time with all his kids and grandkids!! Family was everything to him (even close friends became like family to him). Herb was an early bird. No matter what, he had to have an egg, bacon, biscuits and hashbrowns for breakfast EVERY morning, and if you didn’t eat, he would be offended. In his early days, he was an independent milk distributor for Carnation and Borden Dairy, for about 25 years. To this day he is still referenced as the ‘Milkman’ by many. Herb left the milk business in the mid-80s and became a convenience store manager until he retired. He is preceded in death by his children, Sabra Miller who passed in September of 2016, and Scott Miller who passed in March of 2010. Herb is survived by his children, Sandon Miller of Weatherford, and Sheryl Miller of Cartersville, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren, Amy, Trisha, Laurie, Wayne, Beth, Chelsea, Jennifer, Charles, Micah, Alyvia, Lillyan, Ryan, Jessica, Kalie, Gavin, and Anna; 31 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
