Henry Leo Harbrecht, Jr., age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 7, 2022, Rosary 6:30 P.M. at White’s Funeral Home, Mineral Wells. Burial: 11 A.M. Monday, January 10,2022 at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Henry was born June 19, 1932 in Dallas, the son of Henry L. Harbrecht and Annie Wiesmier Harbrecht. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great-grandfather. Henry was a U.S. Navy Reserve veteran who served during the Korean War and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He worked many years as a counter sales specialist in Dallas for Allied Belting. After marrying Mary, June 14, 1969, he worked two jobs to support her and the family. Known for his hard work and devotion to his company, he continued his employment in Dallas for 20 years even after moving to Mineral Wells. Henry was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved gardening, growing fruit, growing pecans and woodworking. He leaves behind beloved children, Sandra Barnett Shaw of Fort Worth, Sherry Barnett Reeder and spouse, Forest, of Irving, Deborah Barnett Perry and spouse, Jay, of Colleyville, Mary Margaret Barnett Murphy and spouse, Mike, of Argyle, Vicki Harbrecht Gage and spouse, Jackie, of Ottawa, Kansas, Benjamin Wre Barnett, III of Plano; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
