Harley Dalton Pitts, 29, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Azle. Visitation: 9-10 am Saturday July 22, White’s Funeral Home Springtown. Funeral Service: 10:00 am Saturday July 22, 2023 White’s Funeral Home, Springtown. Harley was born January 23, 1994 in Abilene, TX; son of Vernon Carl Pitts, Jr. and Rhonda (Wint) Stephens. Harley was a hard worker who loved his family. He had a smile that could light the darkest of rooms and a laugh so infectious that it could break a vow of silence. When he wasn’t working, he could be found spending time with his friends and family. He also may be found nerding about D&D, Pokemon, or any and all pop-culture references. He also had the unique ability of sneaking music/movie references into any conversation. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Pitts Sr. Survivors include loving wife, Harley Cooksey-Pitts; father, Carl Pitts and wife Lisa; mother, Rhonda Stephens and husband Jim; parents-in-law, Troy and Shelly Cooksey; grandmothers, Julia Pitts and Margaret Mottram; grandparents Richard and Judith Grizwalkd, and Anthony and Eva Pittman; siblings Deven Johnson, Lauren Qualls (Terry), Taylor Selvik, Jacob Stephens, Nina Stephens, James Stephens, Haleigh Steele, Kelcey Paul, Shane Farris (Kami), Shelley Graham (Jeremiah), Stormy Verner (Zack), Kylie Farris (Fiance Ben), Troy Cooksey Jr (Taylor); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends. It is with a heavy heart that we say Goodbye to Harley, he leaves his loved ones too early, was taken sooner than expected; but will leave memories that will last forever.
