Gregory L. Motte

Gregory Lawrence Motte, age 73, loving Father, Brother and Friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30th. in Springtown Tx. Gregory was born Sept. 4th 1949 to Herman Anthony and Nettie Virginia Motte in Oakland, CA. He was raised in San Jose, CA. where he joined the U. S. Air Force. He served as a Jet Mechanic retiring after 20yrs of faithful service. He then went to work for Lockheed Martin in 1996 and jumped at the chance to pursue his true passion (Trains) in 1998 working, or playing as he called it for 21 yrs at Union Pacific Railroad, here in the DFW yard. Greg was also an avid model railroader and worked with HO scale model trains. Greg was known as Hammer to his friends and Papa Bear to his Family. Gregory has touched so many lives and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his two daughters Theresa Nagy and Renee Reed. His grandchildren Alisha, John and Jessica Nagy. His sisters and brothers Hazel Motte, Renee Williams, Howard Hailey Jr., Raymond Motte, Danny Motte, Tony Alojipan and Antone Alojipan, Memorial Service: 11:30am. Friday, June 9th at Cornerstone Community Church 2233 Hwy 199 Springtown Tx.
