Funeral services for Gregory Dewayne Brady, 55, of Stephenville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the White’s Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Gregory Dewayne Brady, known to his family and friends as Greg, was born on December 27, 1970, in Hereford, Texas, to Phyllis Jean Brady and Jerry Jerome Brady. Greg passed away on August 5, 2026, in Stephenville, Texas, where he made his home.

Greg was a man who loved his family and the things that brought him joy. Some of his daughters’ favorite memories were the times he took them fishing. He also loved basketball and coaching, and at Cherry Park, he earned the nickname “King of the Court,” a name that fit his competitive spirit and love for the game.

Greg took pride in his work. He loved truck driving and later found his way into the towing business, where he worked for Miller’s Towing, a job he truly enjoyed. He was also known for his beloved white Chevy Z71, his love for the Dallas Cowboys, and his enjoyment of WWE. Recently, Greg became a regular at rodeos, where he could often be found watching team roping and bull riding. He had a special love for Smokey and the Bandit and had all of the DVDs at one point.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis Brady and Jerry Brady, and a brother, Trent Brady.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Kristen Brady, Halle Brady, and Paige Klima; his grandchildren, Brooklynn, Khloe, and Marcus; the mother of his children, Christie Shockey; a brother; and many other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Greg will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, his competitive spirit, his passion for basketball, and the many memories he made with the people around him. Whether he was behind the wheel, on the basketball court, out fishing, or simply enjoying the things he loved, Greg lived life in his own way.

There will be a viewing at White’s Funeral Home of Weatherford on Thursday, August 20th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 21st from 9:30 a.m. until the service time.
